Sculptra

Sculptra is a filler composed of poly-l-lactic acid.  It is different from other fillers in that it not only acts as a filler, but also stimulates collagen production, growth and restores volume to the face.  Because of these properties, the effects of Sculptra have a gradual onset over several weeks.  Clinical studies have shown changes set in as early as 6 weeks and last up to 96 weeks. Sculptra is typically used in the cheek, midface, temples, and jaw region.
